Museum of Illusions

Welcome Educators

This curriculum is thoughtfully designed for educators, offering a variety of lesson plans, affordable project supplies, and clearly defined educational standards that each lesson will fulfill. Our aim is to make learning both accessible and engaging for students and educators alike. We provide comprehensive lesson plans for before, during, and after your visit, extending the learning experience beyond the museum. This initiative will make exploring optical illusions, perception, and the science behind our exhibits a fun adventure!

Our curriculum is organized into two main categories: K-5 and MS/HS (Middle School & High School). Each category features a diverse selection of lesson plans specifically crafted to enhance our museum exhibits. Accompanying each category is a Program Guide, along with a reference list of educational standards for easy planning. This structure allows educators to choose lesson plans that best align with their classroom needs, providing options for activities to be conducted before, during, and after their visit. As a result, educators will have the flexibility to personalize their experience, maximizing the benefits of their time at the Museum of Illusions.
